I remember in 2010 when I moved to Baltimore. I had just graduated from the University at Buffalo, and I was eager and ready to start my career with the degree I worked so hard for. I landed an internship in Baltimore at Under Armour, and for someone with a business marketing degree, this was a dream opportunity! I packed up and moved to Baltimore in the summer of 2010 to start my internship and hopefully land a full-time job

So I will be 27 weeks this weekend, and I must admit this pregnancy has been great so far! I am feeling good and staying active to keep my energy up. But the one thing about a changing body is the maternity style. Entering my second trimester, I literally could fit any of my clothes. And honestly, I didn’t feel like going to the mall, walking around and trying on clothes

I can’t believe we are officially eleven days away from Christmas!! This is my favorite time of the year and I am definitely in the Christmas spirit. Aria’s Holiday Show at school is today, and I have a ton of Christmas parties coming up this weekend. I am excited for all of the fun and I will be attending it all in style in my new Schutz combat boots!!

I love thrifting, there is just something about finding unexpected items and styling them to perfection. If you have been keeping up with my latest thrift trips, then you know that I have been thrifting like crazy!! I have received a ton of positive feedback on my thrifting trips, so much that I wanted to open it up for my community of Bold Women to join me!!

I cannot believe we are officially ONE MONTH away from back to school!! Aria will officially start Pre-K and I am slightly freaking out!! Literally, "Where is my BABY?!" I remember like it was yesterday when she took her first steps. Now, she will be walking into school and I can't help but get emotional!!

I can’t believe it has been a year since I left my corporate job to start my business. I am not going to lie, this year is flying by!! The main reason why this year is going by so fast is because I literally have been on the move. My business has been non-stop, in a great way! Running a business is not easy, and there’s days when I question myself and what I am doing, but I keep pushing and I stay motivated.  

This past week I literally cleaned out my entire closet to organize and make room for all of my spring/summer styles. This summer, my key focus is all about easy, comfortable, and effortless style. I literally got rid of ten bags of clothes because I essentially wanted to start over with my summer wardrobe and get pieces that work with my summer mood.  

I seriously just came back from Atlanta, LA, Tallahasee, Jacksonville, and Philly, all in one week! Whew, your girl is TIRED!! But it is definitely exciting being able to travel and do the things I love!! The grind never stops with me, and I will be back on the go once again!! 

Spring is right around the corner and we are counting down the days until Easter, Easter egg hunts, and Easter baskets!! I told myself that I will not wait until the last minute to make Aria's Easter basket, so we ventured to our local candy store to pick up some goodies to taste test some goodies to add to the list for the Easter bunny!

I am officially 30!! I talked about what I am focusing on now that I am entering my thirties in my last blog post. One of the things I am focusing on is loving harder and spending more time sustaining and building my friendships. 

At 16, I specifically remember writing down my goals for where I would be by the time I turned 30. I wrote that I would be married with two kids, driving a Range Rover (my dream car) and a doctor!! Yes, a doctor. For some reason, I thought that being a doctor would mean that I was super successful and rich, boy has that “goals list” changed!! When I was between the ages of 16 up until about 24, 30 seemed like such the “real adult age”. The age that I gave myself a deadline to have everything done!!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I LOVEEEE it!  My family has always been very big on Christmas and all of our many traditions. I think I believed in Santa until I was 10 years old haha. My parents did it all for me and my little sister, so it is without question that Ernest and I are doing the same for Aria.

Want to know one of my favorite things about being a mom? Yes, having an adorable daughter is one, but a close second is the mother-daughter matching moments!! I am so in love with it. Four years ago when I first found out I was having a little girl, that was one of the first things I couldn't wait to do haha! 

Here I am, six months into launching this blog! Boy, has it been one hell of a year. I still have to pinch myself when I realize I am my own boss and living out the dream that I set for myself. I have learned so much this year, about myself as a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

Lately, all  I have been in the mood to wear is sweats and an oversized tee; basically, my everyday work-from-home uniform. I typically love getting dressed up in more posh styles, like tailored pants and chic blouses. But, my mood usually determines my style, and the relaxed look is so me right now.  

So I posted this picture yesterday on my Instagram and I received SO MUCH LOVE!! Everyone was loving this look, especially the boots! So I decided to add this quick look to the blog with links for you to shop! 

It is hard not to love kimonos, this one in particular has been my favorite all summer. If I could wear it everyday, I think I would. It is so easy to pair it with anything from swimsuits, to jeans to something dressy.

Yesterday, I finally crossed some goals off of my Business Goals list and I finally feel like I have a legit business!

I had so much fun in New Orleans working Essence Festival this year! The best part of the trip to me honestly was getting to spend time with my husband Ernest.

Seriously, where has this year gone? It is about to be July and I am sitting here like WHAT? This year has gone by extremely fast, summer is finally here and I can start to bask in my vacation SLAYS!

I literally got this idea yesterday after I found out that my Instagram Stories now allows for me to insert links into my story- AMAZING!!

I am definitely a layers girl. I am in love with adding coats, jackets, oversized sweaters, any outwear to my look. It just adds a little something.

Let me start this post by saying, I have an AMAZING relationship with my mother. My mother is my best friend. I can call her and tell her anything: vent, cry, laugh, and be real with her. It has always been that way.

I am writing this blog post as I stress about the million things I have to do right now. Literally, I have a ton of stuff on my to-do list and I am questioning whether I will truly get it done by the deadline. Ahhh!

I am SO HERE for Victoria Becham's Target collection!! The moment I found out about it, I was SO EXCITED! Victoria Beckham is definitely in my top favorites for style, so the fact that I can have a piece of her style at an affordable price range is everything!!!
