THE LATEST.
Like most parents, we have been virtual homeschooling for the past few weeks, and honestly, we have adjusted quite well- but it is still challenging work! For virtual school, Aria has been working from the dining room table, and honestly, it was not the best for her. She would either get distracted by her baby brother running around or simply not have the organized space she needed to get her work done. That is when I knew I needed to create her room for an effective online learning experience.
For this anniversary, we wanted to treat ourselves and get out of the house. Like most of you, we have been stuck in the house bored for the last half of the year, and we were in desperate need of some alone time together.
If you follow my IG stories, you will know that I have started a fitness challenge, and I am so excited to get back on my fitness journey. With new fitness goals, come new fitness clothes- hahaha!! I mean, if you look good, it inspires you to work out, right? Well, that is my mentality, so I had to visit one of my favorite retailers Nordstrom to pick up some new gear.
Last week I had a panel interview for a women’s empowerment conference, and the panel was all about personal style and how we dress to complement our body and lifestyle. During the meeting, the moderator asked me, “How would I define my personal style?”
Now that outside is opening back up and the summer season is here, I have been online shopping like crazy! I have been searching for great versatile pieces for the summer that can also transition well into the fall. In today's post, I am super excited to partner with Gap and share their 75% off Great Gap sale that is happening now through 7/12!!
I am so excited to share my master bedroom! I finally feel like it is DONE, although when I am decorating a room, it never truly feels complete because I always like to add or update something. But at this point, it feels good enough to share! When I started decorating this space,
I am super excited to finally share Bryce’s room!! This room has been a labor of love for the last eight months now, and I am so happy you all can finally see it! I partnered with Pottery Barn Kids and my friend and designer Jada (@TheJadaBaby) to bring Bryce’s little man cave to life. As you all may remember, I partnered with them both for Aria’s room, so of course, we had to keep that same energy and create a beautiful space for Bryce.
Being home 24/7 has really inspired me to finish and update spaces in my home. I am so obsessed with decorating and really making my home feel like home. I am a firm believer that if your space looks and feels good it will make you feel good as well. So I have been working hard on finishing up the spaces in my home that have been left empty for far too long.
On February 16th, I looked into my full-length mirror, and I was not happy with what I saw. I was 178 pounds, and I just did not feel like myself. I was six months postpartum, and I was ready to get back active and lose the baby weight.
These days, the thing that excites me the most is putting my kids to bed, and getting my me-time in the shower. I genuinely look forward to that time for myself. I often get asked what I do for self-care, and honestly, one of my favorite things to do is to take a shower at night and do my full body shower routine. Pampering myself in the shower is the most relaxing thing for me, and it is my way to decompress from a busy day.
Aria’s school has implemented remote learning, and we have been doing classwork online. Additionally, I have her working on apps and workbooks that I purchased from Amazon. So in this post, I want to share what resources we are using during this time and why we love them. I also have a favorite app for baby Bryce that we use often.
This whole self-quarantine has definitely tested my patience, but with each week that goes by, I am growing more creative with how I engage with my kids and most importantly my husband. At the beginning of the year, one of our goals for our marriage was to have more date nights.
When we first started this journey of furnishing Aria’s room, we knew that we wanted something beautiful and fit for a princess! Her room is everything that she wanted and I am so grateful that she has a beautiful space where she can play and entertain her friends and little cousins.
Working from home with children takes hard work, patience, and organization. So here are my 3 top tips for working from home with a small child and baby
After the first few months, it got a little easier for me. Bryce was older and it was time to start to incorporate a sleep routine. Establishing a good sleep routine will help the baby sleep through the night. Around four months, Bryce started sleeping ten hours straight
