Our Disney World and Disney Cruise Vacation vacation was AMAZING

I am coming off of an AMAZING trip to Disney with the Disney Social Media Mom Celebration (#DisneySMMC). This conference is an exclusive trip put on by Disney’s PR Team where they invite about 100 social media influencers to experience all that Disney has to offer, PLUS learn how to grow their businesses with amazing social media and business breakout sessions. I was so honored to attend for the first time this year, and excited my family was able to experience this incredible getaway!

The conference consisted of a week-long stay with Disney! We spent the first three days at Disney World and the last three days aboard a Disney Dream cruise to the Bahamas.

The trip began with a welcome dinner with all of the Social Media Mom families at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort. The resort was great, and the service was amazing! Disney always has amazing service! At the welcome dinner we were able to meet other families, eat together, listen to presenters, including Disney Chairman of Disney Parks, Bob Iger, and meet some of the characters!

So, let’s talk about our Disney stay

We were super excited to go back to Disney. As you may recall, we went to Disney four months ago to celebrate Aria’s 4th birthday with the entire family. (Check out that blog post- and tips to plan your Disney vacation). But this time, it was just the Boldens! We had just as much fun, if not more, this second time around!! Being with the #DisneySMMC definitely had its perks. We had a ton of fast passes that we could use and we were able to ride some of the rides we missed on our first trip!!

Our favorite ride at Disney Animal Kingdom was the Avatar Flight of Passage. That ride was incredible and I would definitely recommend that everyone ride it. We were able to experience Avatar Flight of Passage by getting to the park before it opened to the public at 7am. We were able to ride the rides back-to-back, eat breakfast and get first in line for the safari ride!! On a normal day, you would DEFINITELY need to use a fast pass for these rides, as the typical wait could be hours without one. We always love going on the safari and seeing all of the beautiful animals! This was definitely one of our favorite things to do.

Of course, we spent some time at Magic Kingdom, where we rode rides, saw some characters and watched an amazing light show and fireworks display on the castle! It was truly a beautiful day.

Cruise Time

After three days experiencing Disney, we boarded our Disney Dream cruise! The process was super easy and smooth. For moms with kids, you only need a birth certificate for your child to travel on a cruise. This was Aria’s first cruise — and let's just say she was super excited!!

The Disney Dream cruise was AMAZING!! From our rooms, to the service, to the food. Disney is definitely the best cruise I have been on. The cruise was all-inclusive (minus alcoholic drinks), so we were able to eat everything we wanted!!! I am pretty sure I gained all 8 pounds back that I lost last month — but it was worth it!!

The cruise was filled with plenty of things to do for kids and adults. I loved that Disney had an amazing childcare center! Parents can check their kids in for supervised play in the Oceaner’s Club. At first, I was a little nervous about the thought of leaving Aria, until I toured the center. It was so fun, filled with different interactive activities, and extremely safe and supervised. Each child got a wrist brand that was scanned upon entry. Children can only be picked up by their parents. They had an extremely safe check-in and -out system, so it is impossible for anyone else to pick up your child. The center also had a number of trained professional counselors so that children were supervised at all times. This was such a benefit as it allows for the parents to be able to have adult time!

We docked in the Bahamas for the day where we were able to get off the ship and walk around the tourist area of the Bahamas for a bit. If you wanted, you could also pay for additional excursions in the Bahamas.

The last day, we docked at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! This island was beyond beautiful! So many things to do, but we enjoyed having fun on the beach!!

Overall, our Disney vacation was AMAZING!! We cannot wait to do it again and again! I definitely want to make this a family tradition and bring the entire family next time. It is such the perfect trip — fun for all ages!!

Thank you so much to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration team for having us experience this incredible weekend!! Every detail put into this trip was amazing, and I will forever be a Disney Land and Sea fan!! To check book your next family Disney vacation, click HERE.
